‘We’re our own soldiers’ – Volunteers mobilise to rebuild Lahaina after fire
When deadly fires torched the Hawaiian town of Lahaina, improvised groups of volunteers were some of the first to respond. In convoys of trucks, they delivered supplies and began the painful process of rebuilding the town many of them called home.
